Batch Test (VDI 4630)
B³ GmbH has examined more than 300 substrates using Batch Test in the laboratory.
The test results are also evaluated according to ATB standard analyses.
During the test, each substrate would be assessed according to their biogas output and other gas composition. The results are used as the basis for the planning (and evaluation) of a biogas plant for e.g. economics review - calculation pricing of raw materials; expansion/restructuring and optimization of the plant.
Each test last until 5 weeks and has approximately 28 days of residence time. The amount of biogas and methane (CH4) are actually based on the fresh weight (FM) and organic dry matter of the input.
